Post title: There are other reports of terms not being saved between sessions
....but I haven't been able to reproduce the problem myself.
What I suggest is to open the Java Control panel and delete all Java temporary files. Then uninstall all Java versions from your system and install just the most current one. Restart (not mandatory, but recommended), return to the Java Control Panel and make sure that that the security setting is correct (High; Medium if you get a script error) and that the revocation setting is set to CRLs (as explained here.
I also suggest to make sure that your versions of Studio and MT 2014 are up to date.
If all else fails, revert to Java 7 update 24 (the one initially required by MT).
