Topic: Trados 2011: reviewing Trados files in Word
Poster: Davecogz
Hello all,
I'm new here but am looking to get more involved in this community.
So I have a teething problem re revising in Trados 2011 (or external reviewing as SDL calls it).
- Once a job has been translated, I would like to be able to export it into Word, it be reviewed/revised and then import the changes back into Trados.
- Now, I've seen that the SDL XLIFF Converter tool does this, HOWEVER, the reviewer/reviser must: (a)look at everything in an ugly Word table with Tags include; (b) cannot review certain important information re formatting - solely translation material.
Does anyone know of a way in which a reviser can change NOT only the translated text BUT ALSO the formatting.
Thanks in advance,
Dave
