Topic: How can I use an updated TM to apply changed translation into a bilingual file?
Poster: Tuncay Kurt
Hello All,
I am having a very confusing problem with a file and need your help about how to solve this.
My client sent me a bilingual file for proofreading in RTF format. I have used TagEditor to proofread this file and finished it but the problem is that I need to send a bilingual RTF formatted file to my client not the TTX bilingual file or a clean file.
I was required to work on RTF formatted bilingual file in the first place but I did not. I have my own TM with all the changes I have made during proofreading. Is there a way to send the client a RTF file with all the changes I have made? I cannot work on the source file to translate with Trados and send a bilingual file to the client.
Because of the large file size, getting into each segment and updating it with the changed translation will take a long time.
Maybe there is a simple way to correct this mistake but I have no idea about what to do.
I am using: Trados Workbench & TagEditor, MS Office 2007.
Please let me know if you need any clarification.
Thank you.
Tuncay
