Thank you Wolfgang, actually I use a wireless apple keyboard and the problem has occurred only in trados..but I think I solved it unchecking the box "Correct accidental usage of cAPS lOCK key"

I was wrong, it didn't solve the problem..

I unchecked "correct two initial capitals" and now it seems to work..

According to Brunos saying it did NOT solve the problem.

@Bruno: A shot in the dark... you say you're using an apple wireless keyboard (so did I until 2 hours ago, but it has not enough keys so I'm back to apples large keyboard), have your tried to put your smartphone or any other BT or otherwise wireless item away from the keyboard/computer? Could be worth a try.

Top of Term Recognition window itself, hovering the third icon displays "Hitlist settings", so this is it. Clicking this third icon pops a window with plenty of font characteristics, which can be different for source and target terms.
(I didn't find it before probably because of a delay when hovering, and/or I probably would have had to click somewhere in Studio 2019 (or 2021) to make it the active app :)) ).

The topic of AutoSuggest has been raised with various iterations of SDL Studio.

I'm using 2019 Freelance Plus. The Create AutoSuggest Dictionary button is grayed out in my screen. I have a TM with 400,000 entries and would like to update the autosuggest.

I've asked SDL where I can buy the add-on. They directed me to a generic products page. Is the add-on a secret :))

If I update to 2021, would I get the add-on even if only for a month? That seems to have been the case with former versions of SDL Studio.

However I bought SDL Trados Studio 2021 on pre-order. I am not sure if the pre-order purchase is a condition to having the AS Creator for free this time. (It was when the 2019 version was released.)
Weirdly, even if you press the 'Buy add-on' button here [url removed] , it does not lead you to anything looking like the add-on purchase page.
Well, if they directed you to where you cannot actually buy the AS Creator, why not ask SDL Support for further clarification? Also asking your question at the SDL Community is worth trying. [url removed]

I have the same problem with the HTML files in a new project.
When I open the file with Wordpad I see that the assigned source language is wrong and this causes a problem to handle the project with Trados.
How can I correct it and then save the corrected version in HTML format again?

Hi,

I have 2017 freelance version and I have the Autousggest creator for free in the package. For some time, I had this option enabled and then greyed out, but wrote a letter to Trados that it should be in the package and they fixed the issue. So, first check the specification of your product whether it should be for free in the package. If so, then it is probably a technical issue.

In AppStore, there is creator for free for trados 2014

This statement is wrong (or means something like 'incorporated in the product but not enabled' or anything else).
When I purchased Studio 2019, they offered AC Creator as a bonus for pre-ordering Studio 2019:

So it seems that I made a good choice not to upgrade to Studio 2019. Autosuggest creator is a good option to have.

Hello,

I would like to know how to prevent SDL Trados Studio 2021 from shutting down randomly.

I already added it to the "allowed" list in my AntiVirus program and I disabled the match repair function. SDL Trados closes "completely"; i.e., it is not listed in the Task Manager window as active app anymore after this issue happens. I do not receive any warnings/error messages/alerts, it shuts down completely unexpectedly, sometimes mid-sentence....

Also, my Multiterm Termbase is sometimes not showing the results (it goes from showing to not showing randomly, for example, I confirm one segment that was working fine and in the next segment, it "forgets" to show the TB results (those underlines in the source and the auto-complete function do not work). I am mentioning this because I don't know if this issue is related to the main issue (crashing).

My laptop is pretty new with Core i7 etc., that should not be the problem.

Try to disable your virus scanner and try again. If that is the solution, then reenable your virus scanner and find the option to allow certain folders, that are needed to start Trados.
