I manage it to get a bilingual file, and I could successfully open it in 2011, I started translating it but when I save the file to see how it would look like, it's just a normal Word file, not bilingual. What am I doing wrong?

I don't want to keep translating if I can't actually get a bilingual file out of it. Is it supposed to look like a normal Word file?

Thanks,

... you have the bilingual file in the first place? As Charlotte said, if you show paragraph marks and other hidden formatting in Word you will be able to see the mark up. Usually Ctrl+* will do this in most versions of Word.

In Studio 2011, if you work in TagID mode you will see this when the file is open in the editor:
[IMG] [/IMG]

In Word after pressing Ctrl+* to activate the hidden formatting it will look like this:
[IMG] [/IMG]

So if you see this then you’re on the right lines.

Regards

Paul
