I manage it to get a bilingual file, and I could successfully open it in 2011, I started translating it but when I save the file to see how it would look like, it's just a normal Word file, not bilingual. What am I doing wrong?

I don't want to keep translating if I can't actually get a bilingual file out of it. Is it supposed to look like a normal Word file?
