Post title: Solved with installing 32 bit - not happy with Trados!

Happy to say I took someone's advice about uninstalling Java and then reinstalling using 32-bit rather than 64 and it works!

But I gotta say I am really NOT IMPRESSED! Where else can you buy an expensive item and right out of the box, it doesn't work! The developer knows it doesn't work but there is no notice of this when you purchase it; no guidelines for dealing with this common well-known problem. Each and every customer has to go out and find a solution individually. I have wasted more half a day on this problem. SDL - you should do better!

I also have memoQ and creating a termbase happens inside the program, with a simple click of a button and you are up and running. memoQ is user friendly and easy to use and I was translating my first file almost immediately. So far everything I've heard about Trados seems to be true. Too bad so many agencies use this tool.
