Thank you very much Shai, I followed your advices and now it works!!
Studio and Multiterm were already updated to latest version. I deleted Java temporary files and uninstalled update 51 (it was the only one that was installed in my new PC). I reinstalled it again and put the security setting to high and revocation setting to CRLs (like Shai suggested). And then everything works nice: terms are kept from one session to the next and are stored in Multiterm as well (although not "live", that is, if you have the database opened in Multiterm at the same time than working in Studio, the term list in Multiterm is not updated when you add a new term in Studio).
Regarding the slowness when adding the new term in Studio, I noticed no difference with the CRLs setting. What has indeed increased very significantly the term adding process is to anchor the termbase visor window and to have it as a fixed one (instead of the original setting, like a hidden window that slides to the right when adding a new term; in my case, that sliding was the main reason of the delay!)
