Post title: Group buy
I just joined a group buy in ProZ for memoQ (I have already Studio, but for checking purposes og memoQ projects I find it more secure to use the native CAT tool), so I think I can answer you at least partly.
If there are 70 slots, the group buy should be closed when all 70 slots are taken. 1 slot left would mean that 49 of them already are taken.
I suspect that if it says closing date is 30th April, I believe you may be too late on 1st of May, since it's supposedly closed the day before. But if the group buy demands 50 participants, it may be you can take part even so, since it would not make good sense if al the 49 would miss out if there were just 1 slot left. But this I cannot say for sure.
I am not sure, but I believe you get the offer of purchasing the software fairly immediately after the closing date of the group buy.
Paying member of ProZ: As far as I remember, the rules for the group buy is that it is open to all. But I think you have to check what is said in the actual invitation to the group buy.
As far as I am aware you are entitled to the same customer service as if you had purchased the CAT tool the normal way.
I hope that covers it all.
