Post title: Is it worth the efforts?
I want to thank all the people who provided information how to solve this problem.
Unfortunately, none of the proposed solutions worked for me.
After several wasted hours of bumping my head in Microsoft/Trados walls of incompatibility, I decided to skip the Integration with Word when installing Multiterm.
However, as I use the Word add-on very often I tried more and - I don't know how - the issue was solved. What I did is uninstall the problematic latest SP2 versions of Trados and Multiterm, then install the SP 1 versions (which did not cause any problems when I used them) and over them I installed again the latest versions.
I can't follow the logic of what I did but... thanks again for the advices!
