The convention in the operating system is correct. 30 đ is correct. The bug is that Trados applies the đ convention to the symbol $, and 30 $ is NOT correct in Vietnamese. All currency symbols are not handled the same, but Trados requires them to be handled the same. I don't expect a quick fix, but it would be nice if this could be addressed.
Ideally the translator would have the option to turn off the conversion feature in all functionalities i.e. AT and verify as well as the Ctl+comma insert function.
In the meantime, I will use the regex you gave me as a workaround :).
