Post title: Save as different format
I had the same problem, told me that the start tag does not match the end tag. It was a Word 2010 file. So I saved the Word file in Word 97-2003 format, opened that file in 2009 and populated it from the TM. Just a few segments needed reformatting and then with the normal 'Save Target as', saving it worked perfectly. My day was saved as well :-)
