Post title: Online editors are usually more sluggish and with less functionality
I don't have experience with the online version of Trados Studio, but in those instances I have tried both the online and the desktop version, the online versions in general have been more sluggish, and they seem to have less functionality. The best I can suggest, is that you try both the desktop and the online version for a project and make a comparison.
