Post title: Has a solution to book end tag errors been found?
My project in Trados 2011 resulted in the same error message.
I have also gone through the procedure of "repair" in MS word, but not good result came out of this.
Like FarkasAndras I have tried several other ways of getting around the error, but on a 21k-contract the last option may be to hack the document up into single pages and checking which page may work, and which one may NOT work. To me, this is very stone age style, and not elegant.
Most likely, the original document carries some defects- but that is something that occurs in the real world, and we are expected to be able to deal with problems of this type. I cannot understand that Trados / the support team does not offer some analytic tools to overcome such dead end situations, or at least a methodology to achieve a decent result.
