Topic: Backing Up TRADOS data
Poster: stevetog
I have been using Trados only for 1 year now, and am just appreciating what a good tool it is.
I have 2 issues, which I haven't been able to solve. I would appreciate if somebody could point me in the right direction:
1) I am worried about a serious Harddisk crash. How do I backup all necessary TRADOS data files, so that I can re-install easily? Is there a backup facility in Trados itself?
2) I have some projects on a different computer, as I sometimes work at home in the evenings. Does anyone know to transfer the necessary project files back to my main computer? Can I locate a project on a USB stick, and use this as the source document?
Any infos would be appreciated,
many thanks
Steve
