Apologies in advance if I'm repeating something which has already been brought up.

I'm using Windows 7 and I updated to Trados 2014 just before Christmas and was very annoyed to see these error messages popping up. I read through this thread and someone pointed out that they had uninstalled old versions of Java, so I tried that and now everything is working fine.

So, for the less computer savvy (in which group I include myself...): Go to the control panel, click on 'uninstall programs', wait for the list to populate and check if you have any old versions of Java (I had Java 6, update something or other in the list), click uninstall and once the old version has been removed, reboot and then check if Multiterm is working. Hope this could be of help to someone. [/quote]

Hi

Works fine...already installed on several machines today include machines from customers where it worked fine.

What I can recommend in general....download the offline installer from the Java.com site directly and run then the installation.

More bulletproof then the unreliable online update procedure.
