Post title: Actually I don't blame Microsoft.
Because Microsoft gives me the option to change the language settings to my preferences. In Studio, the Recognize feature changes when I change the Windows language settings, but the AT and Verification features keep plugging away in contradiction to the Windows language settings. That doesn't make any sense, why would one feature be customizable based on the Windows language settings, and the other two be "hard-wired"?
Oh, and I guess I made too large a generalization when I said the dollar sign convention isn't correct in any language, when I really only know English and Vietnamese. I stand corrected :).
