I sympathize. But I'm afraid all you're going to hear is that Trados can't do anything about it, because Studio uses Windows language settings. If these are not what you're looking for (or even if they're wrong), that's bad luck for you. Big shame.

This is not true, at least if the spaces are non-breaking ones. This would be exactly correct in German.
Anyway: Studio's way of handling numbers, units and dates leaves a lot to desire. But on the other hand, we finally now have the ribbon interface we all have been waiting for so long! ;-)
