Hi Rene
I opened the thread and it clearly is saying in the title that the inability to add/edit terms is solved.

There are still numerous problems with the patch, the most annoying being that the only solution that really worked after Java 7 update (unchecking new generation plug-in) now does not work anymore !
Might be caused by another Java glitch itself. Log a Support ticket and we can solve it for sure.

- The biggest problem is, as said in this thread, the slowness of editing entries in Multiterm. I have a fast and recent computer and the first editing last about 10 seconds. Well it is just for the first editing, so not a big problem, but every subsequent editing needs waiting about 2-3 seconds as you said.....
Most of the delay is caused because of the security checks of Java. Shai Nave explained it
in this thread:
However, we are already working on an article that will provide what settings a user can apply to the Java settings to make it work a bit faster. This means that some security checks will not be performed.
I can assure you, it was not made in a hurry and I think 1 month is not a long time frame where several workarounds where provided within 2 days as from the first report, plus problem investigation and applying the new "standards" that Oracle set and also do the testing before releasing the fix.
You say it would be better not to have it but I think not all think like that who rely on the latest Java Update. I saw several users now where it works like a charm and if not they open a support ticket and we try to fix it.
For all other problems you receive, that fall not under installation and licensing issues, please feel free to open a support ticket if you have a valid PSMA contract (btw. where you also receive new releases for free) and we try to help asap.
Regards
Richard

The slowness that you are referring to is "by design", a side effect of adapting to Oracle's security concept. This concept requires components to be digitally signed, and the slowness occurs when the Java Runtime Environment verifies these signatures. It should be noticeable only the first time editing a term, but from my experience it usually occurs for the following terms as well.
The benefit from all of this is a better integration that should reduce the amount of security prompts and tweaking - which is quite an issue for some users - and overall make the user experience more stable and reliable (the latter got off to a bad start, but hopefully this was solved).
